Role description


This is a 36 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible permanency

Muludja Remote Community School (RCS) is determined to provide an empowering start to learning in early childhood, facilitate the best opportunity to excel in academic improvement and instil confidence in our graduating students. The school offers education for children up to 3 years old through KindiLink (0-3 years), then Kindergarten to Year 6, where the WA Curriculum is used to plan, assess and report on student learning. Muludja RCS is an active member of the Kimberley Schools Project, and our staff are trained in and deliver targeted learning in Literacy and Mathematics. Two-Way Learning experiences and Berry Street Education Model strategies are instilled in everyday culturally responsive practices.

Muludja Remote Community is a small indigenous community, situated on the flood plains of the beautiful Margaret River. It is a quiet place, set in vibrant bushland approximately 35km by gravel road, east of Fitzroy Crossing. The Traditional Owners of the land are the Gooniyandi people, who were originally located on the Fossil Downs Station side of the river. Muludja is a welcoming, strong community passionate about our Country, our People, our sports team and learning.
