About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Arabic Teacher to join our team in either Primary or Secondary School. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to inspire students in their Arabic language development while contributing to a supportive and values-based learning environment.

 

Duties of the role:

  • Deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum
  • Foster students' language proficiency, cultural understanding, and appreciation of Arabic
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment and reporting records
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, excursions, and College events
  • Contribute to the educational, cultural, and community life of the College
     

Skills & experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Education (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
  • Current VIT registration (essential)
  • Experience teaching Arabic in either a Primary or Secondary setting
