About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Arabic Teacher to join our team in either Primary or Secondary School. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to inspire students in their Arabic language development while contributing to a supportive and values-based learning environment.
Duties of the role:
- Deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum
- Foster students' language proficiency, cultural understanding, and appreciation of Arabic
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment and reporting records
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, excursions, and College events
- Contribute to the educational, cultural, and community life of the College
Skills & experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Education (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
- Current VIT registration (essential)
- Experience teaching Arabic in either a Primary or Secondary setting
