Role description

What you'll do

  • Support and mentor young people to set goals and develop their personal growth
  • Design and deliver engaging life skills workshops (online and in-person) that build confidence and resilience
  • Case manage individual students, including developing plans, monitoring progress, and making referrals where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and support services to ensure holistic support
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What you'll need

  • 2+ years experience working with young people
  • Relevant qualification in youth work, social work, or a related field (minimum Certificate IV or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with youth
  • Understanding of youth development and contemporary issues
  • Commitment to inclusive support practices
  • Current Working with Children Check
