Lead School Psychologist Employment Register

Are you ready to lead a team of school psychologists?

The Department of Education is the biggest employer of psychologists in Western Australia, with lead school psychologists providing the professional leadership of school psychologists in schools, education regions and in specialised settings under the auspices of Statewide Services.

We are establishing a register of eligible and highly motivated individuals to fill lead school psychologist vacancies in WA public schools across the state. The register will be used to fill fixed term, full time and part time vacancies up to 12 months in duration.

As a lead school psychologist, you will be directly accountable to the region’s Director of Education. You will also be professionally accountable to the Department’s Chief Psychologist. Your practice will be guided and directed by Departmental policies and guidelines and the Psychology Board of Australia’s professional standards. Lead school psychologists are also employed with Statewide Services.
