About the role

Learning Diversity Leader (POL2)

Holy Cross Primary School is a vibrant Catholic community committed to the safety, wellbeing, and flourishing of every child. Grounded in the sacred dignity of every person, we believe that diversity is a strength and that every student has the right to a rich, meaningful, and inclusive education. 

The Learning Diversity Leader is an experienced leader who drives a whole-school approach to inclusion, ensuring every student is known, valued, and supported to fully participate in learning.

This is offered as a 0.4 FTE contract position for the remainder of the 2026 school year (days negotiable), commencing in Term 2, with an immediate start available. There is a clear pathway to 0.6 FTE and an ongoing role for the right applicant.

Aligned with the MACS Vision for Engagement, this role promotes a culture where student voice, agency, belonging, and wellbeing are central. The Learning Diversity Leader works in partnership with staff, families, and external professionals to identify, assess, and respond to diverse learning needs, ensuring equitable access to a rich and meaningful curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Inclusive Leadership

  • Lead a whole-school culture of inclusion where every student experiences belonging, safety, and connection
  • Work closely with the leadership team to embed the MACS Vision for Engagement across learning and wellbeing practices
