At Kolbe Catholic College, we are seeking a skilled professional who excels at developing dynamic collections, managing digital and print resources, and supporting the learning journeys of our community. If you can thoughtfully select engaging materials, master digital databases, and make cataloguing seamless, you could be the perfect fit for our team.

About the role

The Library Technician will:

  • Select, manage, and organise of library resources, including digital subscriptions.
  • Supporting students and staff with access to resources and library software.
  • Promote reading and library-based activities and clubs.
  • Assist with budgeting, purchase orders, and general library administration.
  • Supervise and lead student activities before and after school and during breaks.
  • Other duties as required in line with operational needs and the employee’s skills.

     

This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position commencing as soon as possible, primarily based at St Catherine Campus, with potential duties at other campuses as required.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in library support roles, ideally within education.
  • Strong ICT, organisational, planning, and documentation skills.
