The NSW Department of Education is the largest provider of public education in Australia with responsibility for delivering high-quality public education to two-thirds of the NSW student population.

The NSW Department of Education is inviting applications from experienced and qualified primary, secondary and special education teachers who are looking for an exciting opportunity to teach in NSW public schools.

We have temporary and permanent teaching opportunities available in the Mount Druitt Network.

About the Mount Druitt Network

Mount Druitt Network serves communities in Sydney’s north-west and is home to approximately 8,000 students across 19 schools. The student population is richly diverse, with approximately 25% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and 40% from Pacific Islander backgrounds. The network includes 12 primary schools, three of which offer public preschool programs, five secondary schools that form Chifley College, and two schools for specific purposes.
