Learning Support Officer

Mary Glowrey Catholic Primary is seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Officers to join our new and growing school community. This is a meaningful opportunity to support students to thrive within a joyful, inclusive and faith-filled learning environment. 

The Role

• Full-time (1.0 FTE) or part-time (0.6 FTE) ongoing opportunity 
• Commencing 27 January 2027
• Salary aligned to VCMEA 2022 – Education support officer – Category B

Working closely with teachers and leaders, you will support student learning, wellbeing and engagement, helping every child feel known, safe and capable.

We are open to receiving applicants from individuals who can commit to an FTE of 1.0 or a part-time fraction. 

We’re Looking For

• Commitment to Catholic education and the school’s mission 
• Experience working with children and supporting diverse learning needs 
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive approach 

About the Role

You will:

• Support students in their learning as directed by the classroom teacher 
• Work collaboratively to support curriculum delivery and student progress 
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment
• Contribute to a strong, supportive and faith-based school community
