Lorien Novalis Steiner School is inviting applications for the position of Class Five Teacher to guide children through to Class Seven.

Nestled in lush bushlands and landscaped gardens in Dural, we have been offering a holistic well- established Steiner curriculum for over 50 years and have built a strong reputation for creative and engaging education.

The class has benefitted from a firm foundation of four years with an experienced and competent class teacher. They are a warm, cohesive and engaged group of children who have developed strong relationships with one another and a genuine sense of community within the class. This position calls for a teacher to take on the remaining years of Primary school.

We seek someone with experience teaching in a Steiner school, training in Steiner Education or close involvement with Steiner education, who is committed to working with the pedagogical indications of Rudolf Steiner and embracing the ethos of Lorien Novalis.

The teacher will work closely with colleagues, specialist teachers and leaders to deliver a learning program that provides a wide range of educational experiences in keeping with the school’s curriculum.
