Learning Support Officer

At St Gabriel's we hold the care, safety and well-being of our children as the central and fundamental responsibility of our school. We are seeking a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Officers to be part of a professional learning team who can support our students and contribute to the positive culture of our school. 

Positions Available

1x Part Time ongoing FTE:0.5 (3 days per week) 

1x Part Time fixed term FTE: 0.33 (2 days per week)

Positions can be put together to be one person 5 days per week.

Applicants need to:
 

• demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School

• support students, especially those who have additional learning needs and adjustments in accessing the curriculum

• work under the direction of classroom teacher, within learning spaces

• work with the Education Team in ensuring a high educational experience for all.

The successful applicant will need to have:
 

• Experience working in schools as an ESO

• Effective organisational skills

• Working with Children Check

• National Police Check

• Certificate 111 (or higher qualification) in Education Support (preferred)
