About the role

Teachers are responsible for delivering high-quality, Christ-centred education that supports the intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional development of students. As each child is precious, unique, and individually created by God, your practice must reflect a deep respect for the inherent worth, dignity, and God-given potential of every student. You are required to model a vibrant Christian faith, integrate a Biblical worldview into learning experiences, and contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to grow in character, faith, and academic achievement. The role exists to provide engaging and effective instruction that is aligned with the college curriculum, the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers, and the College's mission and values.

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, age-appropriate learning programs aligned to the college curriculum and the school’s Christian philosophy.
• Use evidence-informed instructional practices, including explicit teaching, modelling, guided practice, and opportunities for independent application.
