CLASSROOM TEACHER

 St Damian's Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher keen to join our dynamic team of Year 4 educators for the remainder of the 2026 school year.   

We are seeking someone who is keen to join a community of passionate learners and teachers.  St Damian's is a diverse and inclusive school and we believe that each person enriches our community. 

Applications are welcomed from educators who are passionate about teaching and keen to support and encourage their students to maximise their potential.  This is a full-time, fixed term maternity leave replacement in a Year 4 classroom until the end of the year.  There is a possibility of this position being extended into the 2027 school year. 

Experienced teachers and those new to the profession are also encouraged to apply.

• be enthusiastic, motivated and team orientated
• possess a  knowledge and understanding of the MACS documents, Vision for Instruction and its application to structured Literacy and Math curriculum and Vision for Engagement
•  use student data to meet the individual needs of students
• demonstrate a willingness to nurture our faith in our community, actively supporting our Catholic school vision
