About the role
Administration Officer
St Joseph’s is a Catholic primary school located in the picturesque township of Korumburra in South Gippsland. With a population of 112 students, we offer each of our children a personalised learning experience and a safe, friendly working environment for our staff.
We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Administration Officer for an almost full time (FTE .93) and ongoing position, commencing on Monday, June 22nd. The hours are from 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. For the right applicant/s, part time positions may be considered.
This is a category B, Level 2 position under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Provide high level administrative support in order to meet the needs of the school, playing an active role in the smooth running of the school office which includes:
Management of student records, including enrolment information.
Management of HR and employment processes in consultation with the Principal, including pay roll.
Management of compliance processes in line with DOSCEL expectations.
Management of maintenance across the school and oversee the work of contractors.
Provide administrative, clerical and financial support within the school, which necessitates acting on own initiative within the broad outlines and guidance of the principal.
Act as a welcoming focal point for all enquiries and visitors to the school.
Administration of First Aid as required.
Complete other duties as required by the Principal.
