About the role

The School Psychologist will play a vital role in enhancing student wellbeing and learning outcomes. Working collaboratively with staff, students, and families, to provide support, assessment and intervention that reflect the values and mission of Catholic education. Our Lady’s is committed to provide high quality education through research based pedagogical practices. We provide continuous professional learning opportunities in order to support and build the capacity of our staff. The successful applicant will work alongside a team of passionate speech pathologists and occupational therapists in a culture that values collaboration and shared success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to support student learning and wellbeing
- Deliver individual and small group interventions for students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges
- Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement student support plans and strategies to support student success
- Provide guidance and support to staff in understanding student needs
- Partner with families to promote positive outcomes for students
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment
