The values and beliefs that form a basis for education at Mount Clear Primary School include Respect, Resilience and Responsibility. Mount Clear Primary School is located 5km south of the Ballarat CBD and has a current enrolment of 212 students in Foundation ¿ Year 6 with 2 staff members. This includes 1 principal, 2 assistant principal, 2 Learning Specialist in Literacy and Numeracy, 1 Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader, 17 teachers, 12 education support staff and 2 Office Administration. 
Our school maintains a focus on improving student achievement in Learning and Wellbeing. 

To support the wellbeing of our students and wider community, we actively engage with the Berry Street Education Model. These practices align with our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) approach, ensuring a consistent, trauma-informed and strengths-based framework across the school. Learning and Wellbeing experiences are enhanced by our specialist program comprising of Physical Education, Art, Music, Science and Auslan.
