Selection Criteria
SC1 - Demonstrated high level understanding of factors that lead to engagement and connectedness of students to the College.
SC2 - Demonstrated ability to lead the development, delivery and evaluation of programs and initiatives that improve engagement and student well-being in education and learning.
SC3 - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young people from a variety of backgrounds, valuing student input and voice in order to further improve school-wide interventions, programs and strategies.
SC4 - Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with students, parents and other staff.
SC5 - Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing evidence-based well-being, inclusion and intervention strategies for students.
SC6 - Possesses an appropriate qualification in social work, counselling, psychology or other clinical practice.
Role
Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions. Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations.
Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction minimal.
