Role description

Teacher of Secondary Mathematics (including VCE Mathematics)

Full-time, Ongoing

Commencing Term 1, 2027


The Geelong College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Teacher of Secondary Mathematics (Years 7-10), with the ability to teach VCE Mathematics highly regarded. 

The role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the College.   


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons aligned to the Victorian Curriculum (Years 7-10)
  • Contribute to VCE Biology teaching (desirable)
  • Relevant educational qualification and experience gained in a similar role 
  • Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) registration
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID 011), CPR (HTLAID 009) and asthma
  • Completion of the College anaphylaxis or 22578VIC anaphylaxis qualification
