We are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Science Laboratory & TAS Technician to join our Secondary School. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to create engaging, safe and hands on learning experiences across Science, Food Technology and Materials Technology (Textiles).

Working closely with our teaching staff, you will play an integral role in preparing practical lessons, maintaining specialist facilities, supporting students during practical activities, and ensuring our laboratories and technology learning spaces operate efficiently and safely.

About the Role

As our Science Laboratory & TAS Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing practical lessons, experiments, equipment, chemicals and teaching resources for Science classes.
• Preparing Food Technology kitchens, ingredients, appliances and practical resources.
• Supporting Materials Technology and Textiles lessons through the preparation of fabrics, sewing machines, equipment and student resources.
• Assisting teachers and students during practical activities and demonstrations.
