Secondary Teacher - Science/Maths

The successful applicant will be:
 

• a dynamic Christian educator whose personal qualities include enthusiasm and optimism;
• committed to the ethos, vision and mission of the College for Christ-centred, biblically-based schooling and have a particular calling to excellence within the Secondary faculty;
• an active and committed member of a Christian Church;
• committed to the ministry of Christian schooling;
• an energetic, highly motivated self-starter;
• appropriately qualified;
• dedicated to the pastoral care of students;
• able to provide a stimulating and relevant learning environment which facilitates students maximising their potential;
• familiar with differentiated assessment strategies and technologies that assist student success within the classroom setting;
• provide pastoral care and wellbeing support to students, including responsibility for a Pastoral/Home Group (mentor group) or similar advisory class.
• in addition to teaching, there is an opportunity to deliver The Rite Journey program, and prior familiarity with the program would be highly regarded.
