Role description

Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses, at Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood.

Senior House Leader

The College is seeking a committed and dynamic Senior House Leader to join our vibrant College community, commencing 27 January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive and connected House culture, while supporting the wellbeing, development and success of our students. Working collaboratively with students, staff and families, the House Leader will provide strong pastoral leadership, support student wellbeing and behaviour, and help create a safe and caring environment where every student can thrive. 

The role also involves leading pastoral teachers, coordinating House and year-level events, supporting student leadership and contributing to the ongoing development of the College’s pastoral care programs. The incumbent will be appointed to Emmaus College as a teacher in an ongoing capacity.

The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.
