We seek a dedicated teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, committed to the Catholic identity of our school and eager to make a positive contribution to the lives of our students.

This is a part time 0.4 replacement position for a qualified (R-6) Primary Years teacher who is committed to nurturing students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth in alignment with our Catholic ethos.  

We are looking for an Educator who:

• Is committed to the Catholic ethos of St John the Apostle Parish School
• Uses student data to inform teaching and learning, ensuring all students are supported and challenged appropriately.
• Works collaboratively within a professional team environment, contributing positively to shared goals and initiatives.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the science of learning and applies evidence-based teaching practices in the classroom.
• Promotes a learning environment that teaches and supports student wellbeing incorporating the implementation of Restorative Practices to develop self regulation and Personal Responsibility.
• Is committed to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

The successful candidate will be required to provide: 

• Working with Children Check
• Teachers Registration Certificate (certified copy)
• Full Day (7 hour) Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect- Education and Care (RRHANEC) training
• First Aid Training
