Role description

The position of Office Administrator is integral to the school community and has a high customer-service focus. The ideal candidate will be a professional and welcoming presence, responsible for managing the flow of people, enquiries, first aid and administrative activities associated with the day-to-day running of the school’s front office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school.
  • Provide an efficient, professional, and welcoming reception service for staff, students, parents, caregivers, and visitors.
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties and support the Administration team members as required.
  • Provide a wide range of general financial administrative duties and support the Business Manager as required.  
  • Demonstrate high-level computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel. 
  • Knowledge of database applications, including CIVICA, Passtab and SEQTA, is desirable or a willingness to undertake training.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

The successful applicant will require the following:

  • Applicable First Aid Certificate relevant to the role requirements
  • Current and acceptable Working with Children Clearance and screening to work in Catholic Education SA
  • Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect certificate.
