Role description

Position Details:

Primary Teacher, Full-time (Ongoing)

Situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, 50 mins from Midland CBD, St Joseph’s School is a Catholic coeducational K-12 School with approximately 800 students on two campuses.

Selection Criteria:
Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the
 following attributes: 
*  be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
*  be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills
*  possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum
*  demonstrates an understanding of the need for both Explicit and Differentiated instruction within 
   a classroom environment
*  be a creative, flexible and enthusastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the
   importance of ICT being embedded and integrated into their teaching practices
*  be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers
   and the Leadership Team
*  understand the importance of feedback to parents and students
*  show initiative and participate fully in school activities
*  demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational
   skills.

Qualifications Required:
*  Accreditation requirements as specified by CEWA Inc.
*  Relevant 4 year tertiary qualifications
