Position details: 
St Lawrence Primary School is a single-stream, co-educational Catholic primary school in Perth's northern suburbs, serving 257 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Established in 1960 by the Sisters of Mercy, the school proudly upholds the Mercy charisms and traditions that continue to shape our community today.

We are known for our strong sense of community, supportive parent body and commitment to pastoral care. Through positive relationships, collaboration and an inclusive approach, we foster an environment where every child is valued and supported to thrive. Staff use data-informed practices to deliver high-quality teaching and learning that meets the diverse needs of students.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Music or Dance Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful applicant will teach the Performing Arts curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6, lead the school choir and hymn singing, coordinate participation in the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival, and oversee the planning and delivery of the school Christmas Concert. This is an ongoing 0.4 FTE position commencing in 2027.

Applicants should outline their qualifications and experience in Music and/or Dance. The Performing Arts focus for 2027 will be determined by the successful applicant's skills and expertise.
