Role description
A permanent full time position commencing 28 January 2027. The successful applicant will be required to support a team of committed professionals in the Religious Education faculty.
The role of Middle Leader exists to support the principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students and assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
- Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
- Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in the Religious Education curriculum.
- Use a range of assessment strategies and analyze data to inform student learning.
- Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
- Experience teaching Stage 6 Studies of Religion I and II and Studies in Catholic Thought.
- Ability to teach Religious Education
