Turn funding opportunities into meaningful projects that support First Nations students and communities.
As Project Officer, First Nations Innovation and Funding, you will help secure and manage funding for initiatives that strengthen educational outcomes across our schools. You’ll work closely with schools, system teams and external partners to take projects from funding application through to delivery and reporting.
This varied role combines project coordination, grant management, budgeting and relationship building. You’ll identify new funding opportunities, prepare strong submissions, manage project budgets and compliance requirements, and help ensure funded initiatives deliver real and lasting outcomes.
You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and bring experience in project management, finance, business administration or education-based initiatives. You’ll be organised, financially confident and skilled at building relationships, with an understanding of funding processes and culturally responsive engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. A current driver’s licence, paid Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain one, and capacity to travel within the Diocese are required.
