Are you energetic, caring and passionate about creating a place where children feel happy, included and supported? Good Shepherd Lutheran School is looking for enthusiastic OSHC Educators to join its Imagination OSHC team in Para Vista. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators, those currently studying a relevant qualification, or people looking to build their experience working with school-aged children.

Good Shepherd is an Early Learning to Year 6 school and part of a network of more than 85 Lutheran schools across Australia. Its Imagination OSHC Service is located on-site and is an important part of the wider school community, providing before-school, after-school and vacation care for children from Foundation to Year 6. 

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside the OSHC team, you’ll help create an engaging, welcoming and safe environment where children can relax, have fun and connect.

You will:

  • Help plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities 
  • Support children with additional needs to participate fully in the program 
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of before-school, after-school and vacation care 
  • Develop positive, professional relationships with children, families, staff, and the broader school community
  • Adhere to the School’s policies and procedures, including food handling, child protection, and safety standards
  • Foster an environment where children feel safe, valued, and included, aligned with the school’s vision and values
