Role description
Position Details:
Visual Arts Technician - commencing as soon as possible
Ongoing, Part time position | 44 weeks per year
Mazenod College is a Catholic Secondary Boys Day / Boarding School conducted by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
The Visual Art Technician (VAT) provides the practical, skilled and administrative support to the Visual Art Learning Area. They will assist in ensuring that scheduled lessons, programs, storerooms, exhibitions, competitions, excursions and co-curricular activities operate safely, efficiently and to a standard that is expected by the Head of Learning Area and Teaching staff in the College’s Visual Arts learning spaces.
The ideal candidate will understand art materials, the processes and equipment used within the Art space and can anticipate a wide range of classroom requirements. They will work independently and collaboratively to ensure the resources and materials are prepared and available for each class lesson.
Qualifications Required:
Applicants are required to have a Tertiary qualification in Teacher Librarian.
