Salary Range:$34.17 - $35.62 per hour pending experience

 

St Joseph's Catholic School is seeking a caring and dedicated School Officer – Assisting Student Learning (Individual Support) to join our team. This fixed-term, term-time position is 15:45 hours per week (5:15 hours three days per week) and will conclude 4th December 2026. 

The role involves providing individualised support for students across all areas of need, including toileting, transfers, mobility, and complex communication requirements. Working under the guidance of a teacher, you will assist students both in and out of the classroom to enhance engagement, participation, and learning outcomes. Experience in supporting students with a disability and using non-verbal communication methods is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure the wellbeing and inclusion of every learner.
