Role description

Leader of Diversity 

Commencement Date: Monday 18 January 2027

Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Leadership Position (3 years)

This position holds a substantive permanent teaching position within Catholic Education, Diocese of Cairns.

Salary Range: Graduate $86,600 to Proficient 8 $124,724 FTE Gross p.a + 4 PPOL Points ($13,024 Gross p.a)

The Position of Leadership - Diversity plays a key role in fostering a culture of belonging, equity and inclusion, ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full potential. Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families, the successful applicant will lead and promote evidence-based inclusive education practices, guide the development of personalised learning approaches, and support the implementation of effective teaching strategies that respond to individual student needs.

This leadership role involves building strong partnerships with parents and carers, as well as collaborating with specialist staff and external professionals, including therapists and inclusive education personnel, to enhance student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
