The successful leader will establish and grow the New Northern Suburbs High School at Lot 104 Petherton Road, Eyre, designed to serve up to 1,300 students in Years 7 to 12. Commencing with Year 7 students in 2028 and expanding progressively to full capacity by 2033. This role offers a unique chance to create a school from the ground up and leave a legacy for generations of young people and families.
As the founding principal, you will lead the creation of a school where the community thrives, and where every young person is known, valued, and inspired to achieve. You will foster a strong culture of purpose, belonging, and aspiration, celebrating diversity, ensuring every student is empowered to realise their strength and potential.
You will foster active, authentic learning and real-world challenge-based experiences that cultivate curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Under your leadership, students will be provided with meaningful opportunities to showcase their learning in public and collaborative ways, building confidence, agency, and the capacity to make a positive contribution to their community and beyond.
