Role description
Ernabella Anangu School is one of eight Anangu schools situated in the far northwest corner of South Australia in the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands. Ernabella is the largest communities in the APY Lands, home to the world-famous Ernabella Art Centre. The Ernabella community is in the western Musgrave Ranges, west of the Stuart Highway, 330 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs.
Our school is focused on high quality, dynamic and culturally responsive education, our students will be empowered to choose their destiny and determine their future.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching in a remote bilingual setting.
Educators work in teaching teams comprising of Teachers, Anangu Educators and SSOs to deliver Australian Curriculum and contextual/cultural learning to students. The school supports a 2-way, culturally focussed approach to teaching and learning.
