Role description
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026
Yanchep Secondary College (SC) is committed to providing young people with a high quality and comprehensive education that allows our students and teachers to reach their potential. We have programs for students from Year 7 to Year 12 with many pathways for students to succeed, including university, further training, or employment.
We offer a broad, high-level curriculum encompassing academic programs and vocational courses to provide students with opportunities to pursue learning interests that inspire and challenge them.
The college is part of the Metropolitan Teaching Program for hard to staff schools. Teaching staff receive an additional allowance on top of their normal conditions.

The Role
The successful applicant should be able to teach a range of courses in Design and Technology contexts (woodwork and metalwork), including vocational courses and senior secondary level courses. Recent experience in teaching senior school courses and having certificate course currency is highly desirable.
The successful applicant should be a passionate and dedicated educator who is highly motivated to work in a collaborative team environment. They would provide students with a purposeful and engaging learning experience to develop their skills, knowledge and understandings related to Design and Technology.
