About the Role
Expressions of Interest – Primary School Casual Teachers

St Aloysius' College is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and enthusiastic primary teachers who wish to join our pool of casual teaching staff for the Junior School Campus (Years 3–6).

We welcome applications from engaged, motivated educators who are passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences and are available to undertake casual teaching as required. Casual engagements are offered on an as-needed basis, with work opportunities varying according to the College's operational requirements and the successful candidate's availability.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collegial and supportive teaching community dedicated to the academic and holistic growth of every student.

We are seeking teachers who demonstrate:

  • Commitment to the Catholic Education of boys in the Jesuit Tradition;
  • Strong commitment to child safeguarding principles;
  • Possess appropriate primary school teaching qualifications, and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NESA, NSW legislation and College policy; 
  • Demonstrate effective classroom management and contemporary teaching practice;
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
  • Are flexible, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
