About the Opportunity
John Paul College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Senior Boarding Supervisor to join our Boarding team on a fixed-term, part-time basis for Term 4 – October 6, to November 27, 2026. This position requires you to live on campus and participate in an on-call roster.

This leadership role is central to ensuring the smooth operation and high standards of the College’s Boarding program. Working closely with the Head of Boarding, you will help maintain a safe, supportive and enriching environment for all boarders while guiding and mentoring Boarding Supervisors in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Reporting to the Head of Boarding, this position provides oversight of daily operations including active supervision, medical coordination, academic support, student wellbeing and activities coordination.

The Key Responsibilities of the Senior Boarding Supervisor will include:

  • Providing leadership and support to Boarding Supervisors, serving as a key role model and point of contact for day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinating medical matters in support of the Boarding Nurse and Head of Boarding, including maintaining medication records, facilitating appointments and liaising with parents.
  • Overseeing administration through College systems such as Reach and Synergetic, ensuring Duty Reports and Pastoral Reports are completed accurately, and acting as the main point of approval for student leave and sensitive matters when on duty.
