Role description
Fixed term (12-month) position commencing Term 1 2027
Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified professionals for the position of French Teacher for 2027.
The successful applicant will:
be an outstanding practitioner, capable of engaging and inspiring boys in their learning of French
preferably have experience teaching French: Second Language (ATAR)
be expected to teach a range of French language courses in the Senior School
be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum
have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional and spiritual development of boys
have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions
hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications
have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, or be eligible for registration
have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.
