Role description
The Opportunity
St Francis Xavier's Catholic School, Wynn Vale is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our school, team and community.
This is a replacement teaching position, commencing 20th January, 2027.
The applicant will bring a professional, compassionate approach to supporting students and the wider school community, all while contributing positively to the life and values of our school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively support the Catholic identity of St Francis Xavier's Catholic School.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills of contemporary and inclusive pedagogies.
- Utilise data to inform and implement learning programs tailored to individual developmental needs including creating Personalised Plans for Learning as required.
- Plan, teach and assess a comprehensive learning program in line with the Australian Curriculum.
- Provide a learning environment that teaches and supports student wellbeing incorporating the implementation of Restorative Practices to develop self regulation and Personal Responsibility.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
