Role description

The Team

The Student Support Team provides direction and leadership of student support and wellbeing functions and services, such as Professional Support Staff, Inclusive Learning, Student Wellbeing, School Health Nurse Program, as well as Student Engagement and Attendance.

About the Role

The Student Support Response Coordinator leads and coordinates responses within schools and Child and Family Learning Centres (CFLCs) to support children, young people and their families who are impacted by child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation and/or harmful sexual behaviour. Responses must align with the Department’s approach to safeguarding children and young people and will include providing high level advice and/or coordination to schools, CFLCs, families, the Department’s Executive and the Director Student Support to ensure an alignment to relevant legislation, standards, frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines.
