Role description

About the Role

To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress. Working across the school (birth to year 6). To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of New Town Primary School.

We are offering

  • Two Permanent positions

  • Both Part-time, 35 hours per fortnight

We are looking for

Essential

  • A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
  • Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment.

Desirable

  • Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
