Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Lathlain Primary School (PS) is located close to Perth city and has seen a large increase in enrolments in recent years. We cater for students in Kindergarten to Year Six across two sites and provide academic, social, physical and emotional well-being for our students. Our staff work with parents, carers and families to maximise opportunities for each student to reach their potential. These relationships are valued and are important partnerships that support a positive and nurturing learning environment.

The Role

The School Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Our School Officers will ideally need to be flexible in their ability to work across a range of tasks and duties, including but not limited to the front desk, taking enrolments and tending to students needs on a daily basis. Experience in the MS Office suit as well as PassTab and YouAudit programs is desirable.

School Officers assist in the financial operation of the school, including tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices.
