Role description
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Providing quality, Christian based education and care for each child in accordance with the National Quality Framework.
- Participating in the development, implementation and evaluation of relevant educational programs and activities in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Participating in documenting children’s learning in various ways (Seesaw, portfolios, classroom displays).
- Working with the centre’s Educational Leader and Teachers to further develop professional skills and knowledge.
- Participating in all ELC activities, using your initiative to complete daily tasks as required to support the team and children each day.
- Actively contributing to a positive and professional team culture in the ELC and across the Trinity School Community, always upholding the values of the school.
- Complying with all legislative requirements. Ensuring you are aware of all regulations, legislation and centre/school policies and how to apply them in practice.
- Participation in other school activities as directed.
Selection Criteria
- Be a committed Christian with a clear understanding of, and support for, education in a Christian School setting.
- Have a genuine interest in the welfare of students and also in their social, spiritual and academic development.
- Have the ability to facilitate and engage children in authentic early childhood programs.
- Have an understanding of relevant early childhood legislation and regulations which govern the provision of early childhood programs.
