Role description

 

About the Role

This role will be responsible for maintaining hygienic, safe and well presented facilities across the school.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include: 

  • To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people;
  • Daily sanitation of all student and staff toilets and sick bay to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained
  • Stock replenishment of all amenities daily ensuring an uninterrupted supply of liquid hand soap, toilet tissue and paper towels
  • Foyer entrance glass to be cleaned daily and foyer to be vacuumed daily
  • Perform a range of daily and cyclical duties including vacuuming, mopping and dusting to maintain a pristine environment across the school
  • Collect and empty waste from staff and student toilet amenities and the First Aid Room
  • Execute a daily routine cleaning of all building surfaces at the end of each school day, specifically window sills, doors, door handles and frames
  • A deep cleaning of the school during the school holidays including glass washing, student and teacher desks, steam cleaning of carpets, intensive descaling and deep sanitation of all toilets and cleaning of higher areas.
