Clarence Valley Anglican School (CVAS) is a contemporary, co-educational Anglican school located in Grafton serving students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 . With Principal Karin Lisle retiring at the end of 2026, the School Council seeks an outstanding educational leader to guide CVAS into its next chapter. The appointee will provide strategic, educational, spiritual and organisational leadership across the School.
The Principal will strengthen teaching quality, student learning, wellbeing and achievement; develop staff and leadership capability; and lead strategic improvement, innovation and change through an inclusive, evidence-informed approach. They will also guide the continued development of the school’s infrastructure and resources while ensuring long-term sustainability.
A visible and highly relational leader, the Principal will build trusted relationships with students, staff and families, strengthen engagement with the Diocese and wider Clarence Valley community, and authentically promote the School’s mission, values and ethos.
The successful candidate will combine educational expertise with strategic thinking, sound judgement and strong organisational leadership. They will bring the energy, optimism and capacity to honour what is distinctive about CVAS while confidently shaping its future.
