About the Role

Canberra Grammar School is seeking an engaging and innovative Design and Technology Teacher to join our Senior School for a one-term parental leave position commencing in Term 1, 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring technology and creative problem-solving to life. You will encourage students to explore ideas, experiment with emerging technologies and develop the confidence to turn concepts into practical solutions.

The successful candidate will ideally be able to teach across areas including Digital Technologies, Applied Information Technology, computer-aided design, robotics and coding. Whether you are an experienced educator or an emerging teacher with strong potential, you will be supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative team committed to excellent teaching and learning.

Teaching at CGS extends beyond the classroom. Our teachers know their students as individuals, contribute to pastoral care through the Student House system and participate in the broader co-curricular and community life of the School. The position therefore includes teaching, pastoral and co-curricular responsibilities, with some out-of-hours commitments across the School calendar.
