Position: 2xClassroom Teacher ( 1 Full time teacher and 1 Part time teacher)

Salary: In accordance with the Catholic Schools NT Collective Enterprise Agreement 2025.

Position Summary:

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is committed to delivering an excellent Catholic education to students from Early Learning (age 2-5) to Year 6, employing contemporary and best-practice pedagogies and providing high-quality pastoral care and wellbeing while upholding our Catholic Ethos. As a teacher in this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive teaching and learning programs across the entire school. Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to deepening the understanding of the Catholic tradition of the school and to building a faith community by bringing a Catholic perspective to all aspects of the role. 
• Effectively implement the School Teaching and Learning Framework. 
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students based upon the Australian Curriculum. 
• Use effective teaching strategies and techniques to maximise student learning outcomes. 
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment which is learner centred that promotes student wellbeing and is aligned with relevant curriculum, wellbeing and safeguarding policies, documents and practices.
