About the business

Unity College is an R-12 co-educational Lutheran school situated in beautiful country surroundings on the outskirts of the Rural City of Murray Bridge. It is an easy drive of only 50 minutes via the South-Eastern freeway to the heart of Adelaide. The College has a strong 'Students First' focus with a current total enrolment of approximately 810 students. Unity College offer the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

About the role

Unity College is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and resilient Year 6-12 College Counsellor to join our Middle/Senior School Wellbeing Team in 2027.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal and work collaboratively with the Senior School Chaplain to provide support and guidance to students and families on our Middle/Senior School campus.

Experience with or professional qualifications related to counselling and/or social work with a focus on secondary school students is highly desirable.

This fixed term contract position is offered at 1.0 FTE (41 weeks) for 2027,  with the potential for permanency in the future.
