Inclusion Teacher 


 

At Immanuel Primary School, we are committed to providing education where each child is supported to grow and develop as a whole person. As we plan for 2027, we’re seeking applications from passionate Inclusion educators committed to continuous improvement and making a positive impact.

 

This is a part-time 0.6FTE position, commencing in January 2027.

 

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will:

 

  • Teach within the classroom framework of the Australian Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, ensuring students with diverse learning needs can access the core curriculum.
  • Plan and implement evidence-based, student-centered adjustments and interventions that are highly engaging, supportive and inclusive.
  • Develop, monitor, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning pathways to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, school leaders, parents and external allied health professionals to build team capacity and ensure continuity of support.

 

 We are looking for someone with:


 

  • Suitable relevant teaching qualifications.
  • A strong understanding and experience in the Australian Curriculum.
  • Knowledge of or experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Framework is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for teaching students with specific learning needs and/or disabilities and the impact on learning and wellbeing.
