Role description

Good Shepherd Lutheran School, Angaston is seeking a passionate and creative teacher to lead our STEM program from January 2027. This part-time position (0.4 FTE) offers an exciting opportunity to teach in a subject that brings together science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and sustainability in hands-on, meaningful ways.

As the STEM specialist, you will play a leading role in shaping the curriculum, setting up our new learning hub (later in 2027) beside the Eden outdoor education space, and sparking curiosity in every student. This is a rare opportunity to combine indoor and outdoor learning in a space designed for tinkering, experimenting, designing, and creating.

Good Shepherd is a close-knit Barossa Valley community where every child is known and valued. Guided by our values of being Compassionate, Adventurous, Relational, and Purposeful, we are committed to embracing the future with confidence. If you are energised by the idea of making your mark on our STEM program at an exciting stage, working alongside a dedicated team, and inspiring young learners to solve real-world problems, we would love to hear from you.

Full application details can be found in the Candidate Information Pack. For questions or to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Acting Principal, Renae McDonald, directly at renae.mcdonald@goodshepherd.sa.edu.au
