Specialist Creative Arts Leader

We are introducing a leadership opportunity for an experienced Creative Arts Leader. This permanent full-time role begins at the start of the 2027 school year and includes a 2-point Leadership Allowance.

About the Role

As a 2-point leader, you will deliver high-quality Creative Arts programs across K–6 while leading the development of Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Drama across the school. The role combines teaching, curriculum leadership, staff support, and the coordination of performances and events, all grounded in the Assyrian heritage, Christian values, and the school's vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Creative Arts lessons aligned with the NSW Creative Arts Syllabus.
• Develop sequential and differentiated programs across Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Drama.
• Lead the planning and continuous improvement of the school’s Creative Arts program.
• Support and mentor teachers in delivering Creative Arts content.
• Coordinate performances, exhibitions, celebrations and whole-school initiatives.
• Embed Assyrian cultural heritage and Christian values into programs and events.
• Assess and report on student achievement.
• Manage Creative Arts resources, equipment and budgets.
• Contribute to liturgies, assemblies, cultural events and school celebrations.
