Waverley College is seeking a suitably qualified and passionate Music Teacher to join our team at the commencement of Term 4, 2026. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for the duration of Term 4, concluding at the end of the term.

The Duties

The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge, competence, and confidence in;

• Creating and delivering innovative and creative class music programs that provide engaging learning opportunities to build skills in performance, composition and listening skills.
• Identifying the individual needs of boys to facilitate the development of an integrated, exciting, and rigorous music program for students from Year 7 to Year 12
• An understanding of DAW music programs and other music software would be beneficial.
• The implementation and teaching of Music Technology across Stage 4 to Stage 6.
• Conducting and supporting some of the following groups: Concert Bands across the Junior and Senior Campuses, Jazz Ensembles, Brass Ensembles and Woodwind Ensembles.
